With Video Upload: “you can give your videos the recognition and visibility they deserve by promoting them on Google – for free. Signing up for the Google Video Upload Program will connect your work with users who are most likely to want to view them,” says Google. This should end well. Matt over at PVRblog gives it a whirl.
Seriously, is anyone else concerned about the proliferation and reach of these services? Earlier this week Google announced new cell phone services. A couple weeks ago it launched Google Maps. Then there’s Google Desktop Search, that freaky Keyhole, Picasa, you name it.
We’re waiting for Google Sock Drawer Organizer. Wait, actually we could use that.
