All right.: These consumer privacy breaches must stop. Now the poor WASPs who shop at Ralph Lauren Polo are getting hit and that just won’t do.

It’s a national nightmare: The credit card information of 180,000 yuppies is reportedly at risk after a security breach at the snooty superstore. Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. has no comment on the matter at the moment – aside from its perpetual look of disdain – but word on the cul de sac is that credit card companies are notifying potential victims.

What if order information is compromised? The world would know who bought a Classic Polo in Expedition Dune Heather, who purchased the Maui Pink culottes, who wears a 34-long in a Sante Fe Fatigue Pant and who favors the Madras Congressman Sport Coat.
