Apple is retaliating against the publishing house that’s releasing an unauthorized biography of CEO Steve Jobs.
The company is removing any books published by John Wiley & Sons from its 104 Apple stores after a month of trying to convince the publisher not to release the book.
The book’s author, Jeffrey Young, says Jobs and Apple should have no quarrel with the book, which chronicles Jobs’ “rise as an innovator and entrepreneur and includes details about his personal life such as his divorce and fight with cancer.”
Maybe they just dislike the book’s title: “iCon”. But, brilliantly, even that can be read two different ways.
