Cisco code theft linked to other hacks

So remember last May when Cisco found out someone was tinkering in their pantry and stole some of the all-important IOS code that handles routing for, you know, most of the ‘Net? Apparently that incident is just one of many perpetrated by a hacker – or hackers – going by the name Stakkato.

Well, surprise, surprise, the feds have been investigating Stakkato for more than a year now and is linking it to other high-profile thefts like F-18 blueprints, hacks into NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and more.
