The CIA held a three-day online war game this week to simulate a Sept. 11-like electronic assault on the U.S.
The event, known as “Silent Horizon” (which sounds like the name of a Lifetime movie), “is meant to test the ability of government and industry to respond to escalating Internet disruptions over many months,” according to the AP.
The exercise was set five years in the future with the attacks conducted by an alliance of anti-American organizations, including anti-globalization hackers.
No word if Matthew Broderick was involved in the event.
