Man sues dating site

A Pennsylvania lawyer is suing the site dontdatehimgirl.com after three women posted, well, “Don’t date him, girl!” Or something to that effect. We’re sure there was some finger-snapping in there somewhere, too.

Todd Hollis says it’s unfair the women got to post their opinions of him anonymously while he’s branded as a scoundrel. The Register used the word “scoundrel,” which frankly is just not used enough today.

Hollis says the men named are at an even greater disadvantage as they can’t respond to the claims, except to the site administrator, who may or may not post their defense.

Lawyers for the site note “suing the site’s owner for comments posted on the site is like suing the owner of a coffee shop for the content of private conversations between patrons,” writes The Register.
