Microsoft embarrassed into IE patch release?

Remember yesterday when we posted about the security researchers who issued a patch for an IE vulnerability because Microsoft hadn’t? Well, Microsoft has now. Perhaps a little red-faced as they were beaten to the punch by ZERT, Redmond – gasp – issued a patch outside of Patch Tuesday to address the serious nature of the problem. Patch info and link here.
