Seems Microsoft has been tagging any messages from Gmail as a security threat. Ooops.
Heh, nice “technical difficulty,” Redmond.
Apparently those running Microsoft’s Windows Live OneCare anti-virus software got a message when accessing the Gmail home page noting their system had been infected with the BAT/BWG.A. virus.
Microsoft said the problem was caused when Google upgraded Gmail last week with new features and has since resolved the issue. Google has remained mum.
