One of the selling points of the Nintendo Wii is its wireless, motion-sensor controls.
For instance, if you’re playing a bowling game, you hold the Wiimote and then go into a backswing and release just as if you were at the alley.
That’s the game one poor soul was playing last week, when the wrist strap holding the Wiimote to his hand broke, sending the controller into his 60″ HDTV, cracking the screen.
He’s posted pictures and a warning online:
“Be warned: Sweaty hands + faulty Wiimote wrist strap = broken ass TV.”
And if you’re wondering how those controllers work, here’s a story from the AP.
