The ‘One’ time we’ll side with a record label

This may be the only time we’ve sided with a record label.

Universal Music has slapped a cease and desist order on Bank of America for its awful pep rally version of “One”, earnestly sung by bank manager Evan Chandler.

The damage has been done, however. “One” came on the radio the other day and instead of enjoying Bono’s vocals, all I could think of was that dork singing:

And it’s one bank

One card

One name that’s known all over the world

One spirit

We get to share it

Leading us all to higher standards
