U.S. hits North Korea where it hurts

Take that, you crazy midget. The U.S. has banned the sale of iPods and other cool stuff to North Korea to get under the skin of tiny dictator Kim Jong Il. USA Today reports the move is the “first-ever effort to use trade sanctions to personally aggravate a foreign president.” While experts say it’s innovative, it won’t stop Il from getting his teeny paws on whatever he wants. “The problem is there has always been and will always be this group of people who work at getting these goods illegally,” noted former Commerce official William Reinsch. Small electronics, such as iPods or laptops, are “untraceable and available all over the place.”
