Wal-Mart is dipping its toe into the movie download pool. Those who buy the “Superman Returns” DVD at Wal-Mart will get a promo code with which they can also buy and download the movie – from Wal-Mart servers – to their an iPod, et. al. ($1.97), computer ($2.97) or both ($3.97). This news comes just a day after the story noting that Wal-Mart servers spit the bit on Black Friday. You think they’ll stoke the servers with extra hamsters for the movie downloads?
