Lots of Microsoft TV news today. First off, Bill Gates has hired Carolyn Kepcher, late of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice,” to be a judge for his “Ultimate Challenge” contest. The person with the best small business idea will
get “$100,000 in seed money, a storefront or other space in Manhattan for a year rent-free, and software to help get their business started,” notes Yahoo. Kepcher, if you recall, looks quite a bit like Carly “Tough Choices” Fiorina. Gates, if you recall, looks nothing like Trump, but Bill has much better hair. We’d post a picture of Carly v. Carolyn here, but we still can’t post a damn picture on this new crappy software. And, in other Redmonmania news, Microsoft apparently sponsored the entire 11 p.m. SportsCenter Tuesday night in a TV version of a classic Web page roadblock. Thank dog that basketball game ran late and we opted for bed instead. According to MediaDailyNews, Microsoft aired a total of 7 minutes of XBox 360 commercials during the one-hour show, instead of SportsCenter’s usual 15 minutes. Via tvtattle
