Today’s NY Times reports that “Spam is back.” Cripes, Times, did it ever go away? They must have some kick-ass filters over there. Anyway, the paper reports that worldwide spam has doubled since last year and “unsolicited junk mail now accounts for more than 9 of every 10 e-mail messages sent over the Internet.” The Times also reminds us that in 2003, Gates predicted the spam scourge “will be solved by 2006.” More here.
