Look for a new, nerdy fetish? How about “unboxing”? The Register reports a YouTube video of a man unpacking a PS3 has been downloaded more than 73,000 times since it was uploaded on Nov. 11. Apparently people, um, enjoy watching other nerds open boxes containing gear from Apple (no surprise there when you think about it), Palm, Nintendo, etc., and two sites are even devoted to the “hobby”.
