The second Regional Finals of the Game & Game World Championship 2009, the North American Regional Finals, are just around the corner.
GNGWC (GamenGame World Champion) office announced on September 4 that it will host the second Regional Finals of the Game & Game World Championship 2009 (GNGWC 2009 http://www.gamengame.com/gngwc/introduction.asp) in the United States, in Los Angeles, on September 12.
The GNGWC 2009 North American Regional Finals will select the North American representatives from those who have passed the online preliminary round for residents of North America. The selected gamers will be allowed to participate in the GNGWC 2009 Grand Finals in Korea and will be provided with airline tickets and hotel lodging.
The 3 official games of this year’s match are Silkroad Online, Shot Online, and Atlantica. The 1st- and 2nd-place winners of Silkroad Online and Atlantica and the 1st–3rd-place winners of Shot Online can participate in the Grand Finals; these 7 winners will be invited to Korea.
GNGWC 2009 started off successfully in July in Germany and will continue through to the United States on September 12, Korea on September 27, Brazil on October 10, and Japan on October 17 for Regional Finals, and close in Korea on November 28 with the Grand Finals.
The representatives who have been selected at each Regional Finals will compete hard at the Grand Finals, for total prize money of USD 27,000 to be won at Busan G-star event hall from November 28–29.
At the Grand Finals of GNGWC 2009, the 1st-place winner of each game will win USD 5,000, the 2nd-place winner USD 3,000, and the 3rd-place winner USD 1,000, sharing a total prize amount of USD 27,000.
The GNGWC 2009 North American Regional Finals will also hold various performances and programs including recreation and new game booths for visitors, onsite events, exhibitions of character figurines from games, and a photo zone. The match will be a good opportunity for people to enjoy the intensity of online games together with various events.
