How long can it last? Sun and Microsoft today said that they have kissed and made up, settling a number of squabbles in one fell swoop. Microsoft is paying Sun nearly $2 billion to put anti-trust issues, patent issues and royalty issues to bed. There is also some talk of collaboration and licensing so that the companies can live in peace, harmony and goodwill from now on. Hard to swallow, isn’t it?
