Microsoft Surface: It’s not an iPhone, it’s a big-ass table

The folks over at Sarcastic Gamer have taken a very funny video swipe at Microsoft’s Surface computer:

Surface is a $10,000 coffee table with a Windows Vista PC at its heart, topped with a 30-inch touch screen. Users can interact with the machine by touching or dragging their fingertips and objects such as paintbrushes across the screen, or by setting real-world items tagged with special bar-code labels on top of it.

The Surface isn’t likely to turn up in many homes though and seem more destined for custom vertical use, experts say. For example, Harrah’s and T-Mobile have plans to use them as interactive kiosks.
