This is my first blog entry

Well, sorta. I’ve been working behind the scenes here at Network World, occasionally subbing for Linda Leung and Julie Bort in the Cisco Subnet and Microsoft Subnet blogs, respectively. I’ve also been posting under the pseudonym GoodBadUgly for our weekly feature on the best, worst and ugliest items of the week. To be honest, I don’t even write that; I am just a conduit for those who do. Naturally, I’ve posted replies in our forums and such, but I’ve never blogged for my own blog, mainly thinking that someday I would get to it, but also thinking that the debut post would have to be witty or pithy or something and so never quite getting to it. Obviously that’s gone out the window. With this uninteresting debut post out of the way I can now blog freely, without all that pressure. What, you think you can do better?
