I’m serious here. This story tells of a man who found a 4.38-carat diamond at some sift-your-own diamond mine in Arkansas, but offers exactly zip in terms of answering the question that will be first and foremost on every reader’s mind: How much is the thing worth?
There’s a photo … but not a whiff of an educated guess on worth.
Now, having done the engagement ring thing (twice), I understand that there are a variety of factors involved in an appraisal and that they cannot be accounted for accurately by looking at a picture. But can’t someone offer some idle speculation … maybe a range.
Feel free to step up and fill this information void.
