You know when you call tech support and a guy answers the phone in heavily accented English and says, “Hi … My … Name … Is … Danny,” and you think “Bangalore.”
First off, it’s cute you thought your call wouldn’t end up in Bangalore.
Anyway, IBM has developed a program that rates Indians’ English and helps them fix their pronunciation, idioms and more. So your call will still go to Danny in Bangalore, but he’ll talk like he’s from West Texas.
