In this week’s Backspin wherein I discuss how one man tried to do what he thought was the right thing after discovering a hacking program being systematically conducted by the Chinese aimed at US networks. This program had been going since at least 2003 and the government security wonks even had a name for it: Titan Rain. I have to ask, how do these security people come up with these names? Why are they always somehow pretentious? Why are they never names like Waffle Syrup or Spongebob Tractorpull? Anyone?
