BitLocker Drive Encryption

Opinion

New to Windows, albeit in the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Vista only, is BitLocker drive encryption technology.

Using either a TPM module, or a USB key, it allows you to completely encrypt the contents on an entire drive, a boon to IT admins in mobility situations.

In fact, another use of Bitlocker would be to protect the drives in a relatively-unsecure server environment.

BitLocker alone is worth the cost of acquiring an Enterprise Licensing agreement with microsoft, or the retail/upgrade purchase of Windows Vista Ultimate edition for smaller firms.

Do you currently secure your mobile devices? What do you use for securing mobile devices?
