See what China censors

Been wondering what those Chinese Internet censors – with the help of Google, Yahoo and MSN — are actually keeping from the eyes of their countrymen? You’ll be able to see for yourself using this online tool from Indiana University researchers that offers a side-by-side comparison of search results as would be seen from China and the United States.

According to our story: “A search on Tiananmen Square, for example, results in many text references and images of the Chinese government crackdown on protesters in 1989 on the U.S. search site, but mainly hotel and tourist information on the Chinese version.”

But go ahead, search on the dirty words … you know you want to.
