Emulex unveils 8Gbps Fibre Channel host bus adapters

Emulex on Tuesday introduced a new quad-channel 8Gbps Fibre Channel host bus adapter that is designed for high-bandwidth, slot-limited servers. The Emulex LPe12004 supports both source and target mode usage and is backward compatible with 4G- and 2Gbps storage-area networks. The adapter is available now.
