ABC News has apparently reported all the real news in the world as it’s turning to Internet dating for its next project.
“Hooking up,” a five-part documentary about “the unpredictable world of online dating,” premieres at 9 p.m., Thursday, July 14. That’s about four parts too many in our book.
The show “takes an intimate look at the sometimes bewildering, often hilarious, and occasionally frightening world of online dating…. ‘Hooking Up’ puts a particular aspect of our culture under a microscope, focusing in this case on the yearnings, trials and tribulations of 12 Manhattan women.”
This is gonna make “Dancing with the Stars” look like “Deadwood.”
