If you’re a fan of VoIP and case modding, it doesn’t get any better for you than Vonage’s “Pimp My Phone” contest.
The company gave four cooler-than-us design nerds a bottom-of-the-line touch-tone phone and an Aug. 15 deadline to make it look cooler using whatever they want. The only catch is the phone has to work.
The modded phones will go on display here after Aug. 15 and be up for voting by the unwashed ‘Net masses. The winner gets $2,000, a year of free Vonage and the respect of his or her, what, 6 peers?
