Stolen Segways a hard sell

Wanna buy a hot Segway?

Apparently no one does, a group of New Hampshire criminal masterminds discovered. Concord, N.H., police got a tip that a warehouse contained 10 $5,000 Segways stolen this spring from a local car dealership. Police raided the warehouse and found all 10 “collecting dust and in perfect condition.”

Apparently, they’re hard to fence, wonder why? Actually, we’re wondering why they didn’t head to eBay.

“I think the burglary was very well thought-out,” Concord Detective Todd Flanagan said. “I think what wasn’t thought out was how they were going to profit from this. It’s sort of comical, actually.”
