
Then Krakowiak did an incredibly stupid thing. Upset he didn’t get a reward, he contacted Chicago Sun-Times columnist Mark Brown to complain.
“Now I feel like an idiot,” he said. “Too bad someone not so honest didn’t find the check and forge his signature and cash it.”
Ugh. The worst part, he’s an “IT manager.” Ten bucks he works on a No Help Desk.
What’s cool is Brown had readers vote on whether Krakowiak was right to expect a reward.
Writes Brown: “The voting is complete, and frankly, Ed, the majority opinion is that you’re either an “idiot” or a “jerk” who should be ashamed of yourself – those being the descriptions I am allowed to use in a family newspaper.
