In-room movie hacking

Our friends at The Register report that a group of security experts have found a vulnerability in the in-room movie system used at a major hotel chain. The group was able to get into the TV menu system and view any movie (read: free porn). They also could have broadcast their own video to everyone in the hotel and manipulated the channel lineup. It’s already hard enough to figure out the channel lineup when on the road, imaging someone changing it every time you turned the TV on?
