USA Today posts a timely piece this morning on how the Internet is changing America’s charitable donation efforts.

In addition to examining how the ‘Net enables quick donations to large organizations like the Red Cross or Salvation Army, the story also looks at how small charities, such as ModestNeeds.org, DonorsChoose.org and others are using the Web, as well as eBay, to get money to those people and programs who need it.

A good read.
