How else would you explain a legion of fans who save every box their Apple products come in and describe the boxes as “packaging experiences”? Granted, Apple does a nifty job of packaging their stuff but, c’mon…
“I can’t imagine throwing them away,” 20-year-old engineering student Ryan Harne told Wired News. “It’s more than a record of a serial number; it’s a record of a good event that happened in my life.”
