The bill’s sponsor calls it a “Lemon Law” for cell phone users that would “address common cell phone annoyances by fixing dead zones, shortening contracts to one year and offering bills customers can understand.”
Why should the state make carriers pay for stupid users? If you can’t choose a decent provider, know enough not to sign a 2-year agreement and read a bill, we think mobile technology may be beyond you at the current time.
Interesting – when we think “Cell Phone Bill of Rights” we think of banning them from use in movie theaters, most restaurants and Fenway Park – especially for those waving dorks with seats behind home plate. Oh, and we’d also like the option of having them banned from use by anyone driving an SUV.
