Over the summer ISS researcher Michael Lynn (left) caused a big ruckus at the annual Black Hat show when he disclosed vulnerabilities he found in Cisco routers over the objections of the company and his employer.
Lynn became an Internet superhero for standing up for what he thought was right, but at the same time was sued and lost his job.
It turns out there’s a happy ending after all, as Cisco arch rival Juniper confirms it has hired Lynn. The company unfortunately won’t give out any more juicy details, but good to know it’s all ended up OK for Lynn.
