Last week we told you about the woman in Virginia who proved to be a decent bank robber and an excellent multitasker as she was always talking on her cell while holding up the bank.
Alas, she has been apprehended. Police have arrested and charged 19-year-old Candice R. Martinez of Centreville, Va., with robbing four suburban banks. Authorities say surveillance video shows that Martinez would walk up to the bank window and slip the teller a note stating the game was afoot, all the while on her phone.
Our favorite part of this story is the fact that everyone’s hung up on whether Martinez was really talking to someone on the other end of the line or just faking the call.
