With popularity comes danger, just ask mobile phone users in Finland who are constantly dropping their cell phones down the toilet.Helsinki Water reports it’s finding more and more cell phones in the city sewers, along with “false teeth, toys, cameras and even torches.” Torches?Unfortunately, the utility could not provide actual numbers of mobiles who went to a watery grave, but as The Register reports, “with 4.8 million mobile users in Finland, it’s reasonable to expect a certain number of toilet-related mobile incidents.”Experts say the phenomenon is the result of cell phones getting smaller. This does not bode well for the iPod nano. The toilet-phone issue is just the latest danger to befall the cell phone population. Don’t forget the problems tight jeans pose.Via The Register Related content news analysis FBI/IC3: Vile $5B business e-mail scam continues to breed FBI/IC3 reports over 40,000 worldwide victims and $5 billion in the latest reckoning By Michael Cooney May 08, 2017 5 mins Security news analysis Ultimate geek dream?
