Yahoo’s trying to preach RSS to the masses – and no doubt widen a lucrative new line of advertising – by adding an RSS folder to select users’ e-mail accounts.
Those participating in the Yahoo Mail beta will find a new RSS folder in their e-mail tree, allowing them to scroll through their latest RSS content as if they were using a traditional RSS reader.
Since last year Yahoo has offered RSS feeds for readers, but they were gathered on a specific page, not in the user’s Yahoo e-mail account.
