Public safety officials have an interesting new tool at their disposal – a small wireless, ruggedized camera that can transmit video and audio up to 200 feet away.
Called the EyeBall, the cam is about the size of a baseball and can be tossed into a dangerous situation, like a hostage situation, to assess what’s going on.
Our only questions: What’s to keep the bad guys from shooting the EyeBall or kicking it out of the area of interest? Or throwing it back out of a room only to have police toss it back in, in a weird game of catch?
