Not if the products from manufacturer Hulger are any indication. The New York Times looks at the small British manufacturer, who’s cranking out sweet handsets that look like they came from “His Girl Friday” or a Lionel Ritchie video.
Our favorite is the Penelope (above), modeled after an old rotary phone handset. Plug it into your PC via an equally retro, tangle-y phone cord and you’re ready to Skype.
