“Wow.”That was my first impression up opening my very first iPod (this editor is a slowly catching up to the times!). Yesterday, I bought a black 30GB video iPod and immediately fell in love. And it’s not just the thin, sleek design or ultra sharp screen. The packaging is just as well thought out and engineered. Most electronics I buy today require a chain saw to open the packaging and results in the owner requiring 400 stitches to the hand. Forget being able to repackage the item if you need to return it. But my iPod’s packaging required a letter opener and that was about it. Even the cabling was in easy to open packages. All companies should take a packing lesson from Apple.
