Cable vs. Telco – Round X

Here in Network World’s backyard, a contractor who was dropping pamphlets for Verizon in Woburn, Mass. neighborhood complained to police (scroll down to 3 p.m. on Feb. 16) that a representative from rival cable company RCN was following in a black car, picking up the dropped pamphlets. Maybe the alleged thief really wanted to impress their RCN bosses or they really hated Verizon, but either way, this is a new low (and not in a good way) in the marketing battle for your broadband dollars. At least Comcast takes a different approach in the war with Verizon.
