McDonald’s, desperate to attract attention away from its food, is making news by announcing an “online casting call.” Sixteen winners will find their mug wrapped around a soda or fries or McWhatever packaging in 100 countries.“As many as 25 winners will be chosen from consumers’ entries at , where hopefuls must submit a personal story of what they love in 100 words or less – in any of 16 languages – and a digital photo capturing the essence of their story,” writes the AP.Notice they didn’t require you to note what you love about McDonald’s.
