Blogosphere: Freakin’ huge!

You know we’ve written before that everyone and their grandma has a blog, and apparently we’re not exaggerating.

David Sifry looks at “The State of the Blogosphere” – in his blog, of course. He finds that the Blogosphere is doubling every six months and is 60 times bigger than it was 3 years ago. Other interesting facts:

  • On average, a new blog is created every second of every day
  • 55% are still posting 3 months after their blogs are created
  • Technorati tracks about 1.2 million new blog posts each day, about 50,000 per hour

Cool charts and more stuff here.
