One of Network World’s most popular stories this week is a Q&A with UC Berkeley’s Clifford Frost, director of Communications and Network Services.

And in a somewhat similar, but not really, vein – how did a big-time school, one that brought the world Unix, BIND and SETI@home, admit The OC’s drunky, class-skipping drama queen Marissa Cooper, even fictitiously?

Students, alums and those rejected by the school are up in arms: “What I want to know is how two students who went to school only half the time, were always too busy to do work and have criminal records got into UC Berkeley.” Amusing read here, especially if you want to needle an alum.
