Skype is unveiling beta software that will allow for 100-person audio conferences, envisioned as a way for Netizens to further talk free about Star Trek, Linux, Macs and all other geeky things.
The company is calling the group audio conferences “Skypecasts,” which tosses a monkey wrench into the Blogosphere, as that’s what bloggers have been calling interviews recorded via Skype and included in a podcast.
Got all that? Don’t worry, we’re sure there’ll be a Skypecast about it soon enough.
