The Red Hot Chili Peppers are resorting to “emotional blackmail” to keep fans from illegally downloading their new album, due out tomorrow.Peppers’ bassist Flea posted an annoying letter (with no capitalization or punctuation, how punk rock) on the band’s site saying it would break their collective heart if you didn’t pay $12 for their brand of funk rock.Flea also noted there are “equitable business reasons” why fans should pony up.
