Basically, it details a “contraption designed to hurl SWAT teams and other emergency workers onto the roofs of inaccessible tall buildings human cannonball style.” Sounds fun, no? A sketch is here for all you DIYers.
And how could you not love the headline: “DARPA plots emergency man-cannon”?
Now comes the even better news that the first name on the patent is Dean Kamen, inventor of the Segway.
