Everyone’s watching ABC online

If you though no one would watch TV repeats online, well, you’re wrong.

ABC reports that 3 million people have watched episodes of “Lost,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Gray’s Anatomy” and other shows since the network began offering them free two weeks ago.

Well, it doesn’t hurt that those are three of the most popular shows on TV right now…

The real question is how many are watching them over your network while they should be compiling spreadsheets.

But enjoy it while you can because ABC is not going to keep giving the milk away for free, we think. According to USA Today: “Each online episode kicks off with a 10-second sponsorship message from a single advertiser. It is followed by three commercials that air during breaks in the program.”

But you know – you know – with those viewership numbers, more commercials and junk are coming.
