It was the best thing on the Internet last weekend when soldiers deployed in Iraq were able to watch their children’s graduation live via streaming video.
Florida-based XOS Technologies set up the stream for the Army’s 101st Airborne Division and broadcast seven Fort Campbell-area high school graduations for the moms and dads who couldn’t be there in person. Fort Campbell is home base for the 101st.
According to the AP’s story, more than 250 graduating seniors from the seven schools along the Kentucky-Tennessee state line have parents on duty in Iraq.
