
In a bizarre talent love triangle, Microsoft marketing has hired “Daily Show” cast member Rob Corddry to star in a campaign for Vista. This brought cries of “Copycat!” from the anti-Redmond brigade, who noted that Apple had earlier hired “Daily Show” contributor John Hodgman for its ads.
However Microsoft blogger Todd Bishop reports that Microsoft was actually first to tap the basic cable show for talent when it hired the program’s Ed Helms for a Microsoft college recruiting program video.
All we know is these dorks are pulling in some nice freelance coin.
